Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as an actress and Bond girl with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donavan played the role featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was invited by a photographer, and began to take on the role of model. Then she began an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody was adamantly against glamour and nude work a clause which allowed her to pursue an acting profession. Her first lead role was in the 1988 episode of Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller as Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. The actress played Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. She then took on her most memorable role to date in the film Taffin as Austrian Nazisympathiser and Archaeologist The doctor. The actress later became Flannery her agent as well as girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She had been chosen as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. Doody was cast in Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). She was also set to play the lead role for The Asphyx remake, but that project fell through. She began her first two seasons of Beaver Falls, the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. She also was on the show as Pam Jefferson in We Still Kill the Old Way.
